About Me:

My academic journey in finance began with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Hamilton College, followed by an MBA from the University of California at Irvine, specializing in Real Estate Finance. This robust educational foundation propelled me into a diverse career. Prior to entering the finance sector, I established and managed a record label and production company, “Hip Folk, Inc.” which managed over 90 artists through a one of a kind online self service portal offering seamless integration into all modern streaming services.

Post-business school, I joined Tieback Realty Finance, a boutique realty brokerage firm in Newport Beach, CA, where I was instrumental in developing a network of borrowers for a publicly traded REIT, NYSE: ARPI, sucessfully deploying over $250MM in real estate development financing in the 1-4 SFR Space. For this success I was awarded the Housing Wire “Top 40 Under 40” Award in 2015. My foray into institutional mortgage finance prompted me to obtain real estate and mortgage licenses, leading to a mortgage broker position at Bank of America.

Within the bank, I furthered my expertise by earning Series 7, and 66 licenses, subsequently serving as a high net worth financial advisor at Merrill Lynch and later at the Oppenheimer Group in the boutique investment banking division.

The COVID-19 pandemic spurred a transition out of wealth management and into my current role at Charter Communications as Lead Data & Reporting Analyst of the National Incentives Programs and Commission Operations.

In this capacity, I leverage Excel to drive strategic decisions, manage extensive datasets, and develop sophisticated financial models that significantly influenced project outcomes and business strategies every single day!

The name “ExcelPDQ” has a special place in my heart. It stands for “Pretty Damn Quick” a nod to my father, who was an engineer at IBM and was known for getting things done pretty damn quick. Growing up, I was always amazed at how efficiently he tackled complex problems, and that inspired me to adopt the same approach in my work.
